External data sources synchronisation with collected rankings by the Myposeo platform enables to retrieve audience (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Matomo, Adobe), netlinking (Majestic, SemRush), local (Google My Business through Partoo or Yext) or market (SemRush, Ahrefs) data to cross reference information in your projects.
If rankings are an essential information to monitor the impact or your SEO strategy, cross-referencing them with third-party data (netlinking, audience, conversions, etc.) will enable a ROI (return on investment) focus analysis of your actions in a more exhaustive way and with different strategic levels (Keyword groups, Pages groups).
Be sure to have an account allowing the synchronisation with external tools and you will be able to add these data sources during the creation or the update of your performance tracking project.
Myposeo synchronisation with a Google Analytics property for your project enables to collect and cross-reference audience stats (Sessions, Users) and user behaviour (Time spent, Bounce Rate, Conversions) with Myposeo rankings on a ranked page, page groups, domain, sub-domain or complete folder level.
A good organic ranking in the search engines must generate traffic that will then be directed towards specific objectives for your project (purchases, downloads, contacts, calls, etc.). Your organic strategy must support these final objectives, which is why cross-referencing data with audience analysis tools such as Google Analytics allows you to prioritise the categories to be worked on SEO while measuring the impact of your strategy at different levels (group of queries, groups of pages, types of pages, etc.).
When creating or updating your project, select the synchronisation with a Google Analytics profile and choose the Google account where your property is located in order to load the data from it. Be careful to use the right value (especially http or https). You will then be able to select certain indicators (up to 10 by default) and find them in your campaign.
After creating your campaign setup, you may want to edit your Google Analytics synchronisation to display other indicators. To do this, go to your Performance Tracking campaign and edit it (see image below).
Step 1: Edit your campaign
Step 2: Edit the Google Analytics data source
Step 3: Fill in the information about your Analytics account and choose your indicators (up to 10 maximum)
Let's have a quick look on how this is displayed in the performance tracking tool (e.g Pages tab > Google Analytics Pages sub-tab).
Google Search Console
Myposeo synchronisation with a Google Search Console property for your project will enable to collect and cross-reference visibility stats (Impressions, Clicks, CTR) with Myposeo rankings on a keyword, ranked pages, page groups and your domain, sub-domain or complete folder level.
Google Search Console is an essential tool complementary to Google Analytics, but rankings displayed are sometimes hard to use and the request field (keyword) covered is only the one that your website ranks in the result pages. Synchronisation and comparison with Google Analytics and Myposeo data allows a more complete opportunity analysis.
During your project creation and update, select the synchronisation with a Google Search Console and select the Google account in which your property can be found in order to collect the data from there. Be sure to use the right value (http or https). You will then be able to select some indicators (until 4 by default) and find them in your campaign.
After creating your campaign setup, you may want to edit your Google Search Console synchronisation to display an other collect period. To do this, go to your Performance Tracking campaign and edit it (see image below).
Step 1: Edit your campaign
Step 2: Edit the Google Search Console data source
Step 3: Fill in the information about your Search Console account and change your collect period.
Let's have a quick look on how this is displayed in the performance tracking tool (e.g Keywords tab > Google Search Console sub-tab).
Myposeo synchronisation with Majestic SEO enables to collect weekly (by default) 4 main indicators tracked on your domain or subdomain : Referring domains, Backlinks, Citation Flow (CF) and Trust Flow (TF).
Netlinking/Backlink data are criteria used by Google for the ranking and can have a heavy impact on your visibility. Monitoring these indicators enables to make the connection between the number of backlinks increase and your ranking evolution in Google's SERP.
When creating or updating your project, select synchronisation with a Majestic SEO profile. The data will then be retrieved automatically every week. This feature does not require a Majestic account or API key and is included in some Myposeo packages. The number of projects is limited depending on the account type.
Let's have a quick look on how this is displayed in the performance tracking tool (e.g Backlinks tab).
